In the UK we hope to enjoy our garden all year round. Unfortunately the amount of rain, wind and generally miserable weather makes this difficult.

However when we received pictures of this beautiful contemporary evergreen garden from our valued customer Lucy’s Garden, it made us want to brave the elements in order to enjoy it!

Lucy’s client has a stunning new home in Norfolk and wanted her to bring some class to their front garden.

Although the boarder was relatively small, it needed to be sympathetic to its surroundings while creating an impact. Therefore in order to provide year round interest, Lucy selected deep rich evergreen plants for structure. Our Ice Blue Chippings were chosen to contrast with the planting and brighten the area.

Inside each formal planted square an array of perennials and bulbs have been planted. They will offer a striking display of purple and whites during the summer months. This planting palette will also work in perfect harmony against the grey/blue colour tones of the hard landscaping materials.

The client opted for the highest quality materials. Therefore the beautiful porcelain paving was chosen and seamlessly complements the cool grey tones of the Ice Blue marble chippings.

The decorative aggregate perfectly finishes off the garden by framing the planting and covering the weed suppressant membrane. The result is a beautiful contemporary evergreen garden.

We have supported Lucy’s Garden at the Royal Norfolk show for the past couple of years. So it is lovely to receive pictures and information from her about her current landscaping projects!
